Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions seeks an Associate Field Service Technician to maintain retail store technologies and computer systems across client sites. You will perform installations, diagnostics, repairs, and basic upgrades on Toshiba and non-Toshiba POS and store equipment, traveling as required in your territory.

The role is non-exempt, hourly, starting at $25 per hour, with potential overtime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required with 2+ years in electronics.
• Willing to travel domestically and by air as needed.
• Basic knowledge of PC tech, networks, flat panel displays and POS devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and services on products in the field using standard procedures.
• Travel within territory or nationally to install, relocate, or upgrade POS equipment.
• Communicate status and issues effectively with customers and teammates.
• Complete service events efficiently to meet commitments and minimize downtime for customers.
• Document installation activities and travel time using approved systems and reports.
• Maintain trunk stock and assist in other service delivery tasks.
