Fleet Feet in New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Retail Experience Manager to lead store culture, support daily operations, and deliver a world-class retail experience. You’ll work with the Operating Partner to guide Outfitters and energize the sales floor.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail leadership experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Leadership skills in coaching, team motivation, delegation, and conflict resolution.
• Experience with retail operations such as scheduling, inventory, and floor management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Passionate about team development, recognition, and growth.

Responsibilities

• Support the recruiting, onboarding, and development of Outfitters to ensure excellence in service and sales
• Lead by example on the sales floor, delivering the Fleet Feet Outfitting Experience with energy and care
• Act as a shift leader, directing floor operations and assisting with real-time coaching
• Foster a high-performance team culture by recognizing achievements and encouraging accountability
• Provide clear communication across the team to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and customer needs
• Assist with scheduling, operational support, and the execution of store events and initiatives
• Help resolve customer issues quickly and professionally, prioritizing satisfaction
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment
