Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a role focused on training and developing Product Sales Specialists to ensure customers have a positive shopping experience with exceptional service and in-depth product information. The position emphasizes leadership in training, certification, and maintaining merchandising standards.

The role involves guiding staff through product knowledge, facilitating demonstrations, and supporting customers at checkout while upholding safety and store procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to all product sales specialists to ensure a highly attentive and accurate level of customer service.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of merchandise and installation.
• Ensure the overall merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
• Communicate standard operating procedure direction and changes to all associates in a timely manner.
• Process customers at check-out using the POS system.
• Present ‘how-to’ classes to customers.
