Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Team Leader to oversee a department, directing associates in merchandising, inventory control, pricing, stocking and customer service.

The role requires 2–4 years in retail, supervisory experience a plus, and strong skills in merchandising, customer service, and staff training. Expect to mentor staff, manage schedules, and support events while maintaining excellent service for every customer.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2 to 4 years in Retail Sales.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs associates daily within the department.
• Manages merchandise presentation, pricing, and inventory control.
• Coordinates staffing, training, and scheduling; supports interviews and performance feedback.
• Delivers excellent customer service and drives store goals.
• Maintains product knowledge and conducts staff demonstrations.
• Supports special events and ensures pricing/UPC integrity.
