Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking store team members for the Covington, LA area to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience.

You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planograms, support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS, and promote the Rewards program while upholding SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Lift/move heavy merchandise occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact respectfully, be a role model, cross-trained in Custom Framing selling/production.
• Other duties as assigned.
