Job summary

Big Lots is seeking motivated individuals to join our stores in providing essential products at great values to the communities we serve. As a Customer Service Associate, you'll greet customers, help with merchandise selection, complete transactions, and answer questions about store goods.

Additional duties may include unloading trucks, processing freight, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, organized store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail or service industry experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Unload trucks and stock shelves to keep the store organized.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked and safe store environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and help resolve questions.
