Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the cash register, and help keep the store well-stocked and clean.

The role emphasizes safe, respectful interactions, cash security, merchandise handling, and teamwork with leaders and colleagues. Part-time hours at 315 S Main St, Fillmore, UT; benefits include health, retirement plans, educational assistance, and more.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
