Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience and assist customers with questions and recommendations.

The role includes handling sales transactions, maintaining store cleanliness, replenishing stock, unloading merchandise, and upholding a safe, respectful environment for customers and team members. Part-time position in a retail setting with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service in retail or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Able to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Excellent organizational and relationship management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; replenish stock.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms.
• Additional duties as assigned.
