Job summary

Michaels Stores in Portland, ME is seeking a friendly store associate to help customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, and maintaining in-stock shelves while delivering our Brand Promises.

You will engage shoppers in the Rewards program, assist with omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS, and support safety and SOP compliance.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process and store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies and standards.
• Interact professionally, promoting the organization’s vision and values; be a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
