Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service and assist in-store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will help customers shop, process checkouts, enroll shoppers in rewards programs, and support omni-channel services like BOPIS and SFS. The role involves unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining planograms while upholding store standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
• Able to stand for long periods and move throughout the store; able to lift and carry items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Support store recovery and merchandise standards to keep shelves in stock.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; promote a positive image.
