Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Associate for our Moscow, ID location. You will guide customers to products, provide quick, friendly checkout, and participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

Knowledge of rewards programs and private label credit cards helps enroll customers; you will also support Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pick Up In Store and Ship From Store.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience and accurate cash handling.
• Encourage enrollment in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; educate on VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship From Store).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock shelves; support shrink and safety programs.
