Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Bellingham, MA is hiring for a store team member focused on delivering friendly customer service, helping customers locate products, and ensuring a fast checkout experience.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, managing returns, participating in in-store programs, and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred; flexible hours may include nights and weekends, and team members

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; process cash handling to standards.
• Encourage enrollment in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram updates.
• Complete merchandise recovery and store maintenance, including returns.
• Conduct in-store stock optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; maintain a positive image.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
