Job summary

The Michaels in Bellingham, WA is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will help with truck unloads, stocking, and maintaining in-stock merchandise while promoting the Rewards program and private label credit cards.

You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, including nights, weekends and early mornings, with opportunities to learn custom framing and participate in omnichannel processes.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Public retail store setting with climate-controlled areas; ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll them as needed.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery, merchandise in-stock, and relate returns/goods movement.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact professionally with customers and teammates; model company values.
