Job summary

Dollar Tree in Taunton, MA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and keep the store stocked and clean.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, restocking, maintaining a safe and respectful environment, and performing other duties as assigned. This is a part-time role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking and standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with staff and customers.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
