Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help stock and clean the store to maintain safe, neat, and welcoming environments.

Key duties include assisting customers with questions, replenishing merchandise, unloading trucks, and ensuring accurate cash handling while upholding company policies. This part-time role emphasizes teamwork and professional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
