Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Ware, MA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and organized.

Ideal candidates have prior retail or service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time availability is needed to support store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and common areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
