Job summary

Michaels is seeking team members for a store role in the CLEV-BROOKLYN, OH area. You will assist customers, handle checkout, and enroll shoppers in our Rewards program. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining well-merchandised, in-stock shelves.

The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends and early mornings, with a focus on customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies. A positive, respectful attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be 16 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Maintain store recovery, merchandise returns, and in-stock conditions.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
