Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team in Michigan to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and help with unloading trucks while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Part-time hours and a friendly, fast-paced environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned
