Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help with stocking and merchandising while maintaining a safe, clean, and friendly store environment.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time position located in Brighton, MI with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
