Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. The role involves assisting customers, handling transactions at the register, and ensuring store cleanliness and stock levels.

The position emphasizes excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and stocking. This is a part-time on-site role at our Michigan location with opportunities for growth and a supportive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, and other physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenish
• Maintain cleanliness and restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Other duties as assigned
