Job summary

Dollar Tree in Michigan is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide an excellent shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload merchandise, and keep the store clean and safe.

You’ll interact professionally with customers and team members as part of daily operations. The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliable teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while following store procedures and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
