Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist shoppers, handle transactions, and help maintain a secure, well-stocked store environment.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties. Join us for a part-time, on-site position focused on safety, efficiency, and positive interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
