Family Dollar LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, manage sales transactions at the cash register, and help with stocking and receiving merchandise.

You will maintain a safe, clean store environment, follow procedures, and work with leaders to ensure friendly interactions. This role requires physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and coworkers.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
