Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help with stocking and merchandising to keep the store neat and welcoming.

The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs as needed. Part-time hours may apply, with opportunities for growth and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment as needed.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
