Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is hiring a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

This part-time role requires strong communication, reliable teamwork, and the ability to lift heavy items while maintaining a positive and safe store environment. Prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform repetitive movement.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions on assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
