Job summary

Michaels in Everett, WA is hiring for a Store Team Member. You will help customers, locate products, and provide solutions while handling cash at checkout to standards. Engage customers with rewards enrollment and VOC education, and assist with BOPIS/SFS, stocking, and store recovery to maintain an in-stock, well-merchandised store.

The role involves truck unload, planogram execution, and cross-training in framing production. Ability to work nights/weekends is common in retail environments.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and general store recovery
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies and standards
• Interact with others in a positive, respectful manner; be a role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
