Job summary

Michaels Stores in Burlington, WA is seeking a Store Associate to help customers, locate products, and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will assist with stocking, returns, and keeping the store well-merchandised.

This role involves using Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes, engaging customers about Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments, and supporting safety and SOP compliance. Availability to work evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and general store recovery to stay well-merchandised and in-stock.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies and standards.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; remain positive and respectful; promote the organization’s vision and values.
