Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to create a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, processing transactions, and keeping the store tidy and stocked.

You will greet customers, answer questions, ring up purchases, manage merchandise, unload trucks, and help protect assets while maintaining safe, friendly interactions. This role involves physical tasks like lifting 30–50 lbs and standing for long periods; reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet demands of long standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock, including restocking merchandise.
• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and perform stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
