Family Dollar LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, maintain store cleanliness, and help with stock replenishment in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior customer service experience in retail settings, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
