Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You will be cross-trained to handle front-end duties and cash register tasks while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for shoppers.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience; strong communication and math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.
• High level of integrity required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations from merchandising to customer support.
• Cross-train to support cash register and front-end duties as needed.
• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock items as needed.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment, including bathrooms and floors.
• Manage sales transactions while at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
