Job summary

Arhaus is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead new store development, relocations, remodels, expansions, and capital improvements across the retail portfolio. You will liaison with landlords, architects, contractors, consultants, and vendors to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with brand standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in retail construction, commercial construction, facilities or project management.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with budgets, schedules and stakeholder communication.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, permits, and project closeout.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or similar PM software preferred.
• Ability to travel approximately 30–40% as required by the portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple store projects from lease execution through grand opening and closeout.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules with critical milestones.
• Coordinate activities among internal stakeholders, landlords, architects, contractors, and vendors.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and budget impacts; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage budgets, change orders, contingency usage, and financial performance.
• Review costs and invoices for accuracy and scope alignment; maintain records.
• Support contractor and consultant selection, bidding, scope reviews, value engineering, and negotiations.
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, and turnover requirements for openings.
• Conduct regular site visits and meetings to monitor progress, safety, and compliance.
• Review construction documents and submittals to ensure design intent and scope alignment.
• Help maintain design standards and cost-saving opportunities across projects.
• Coordinate project closeout, punch lists, turnover documents, and warranty transition.
• Serve as primary contact between Real Estate, Construction, Store Ops, Design, Facilities, Finance, IT, Marketing and partners.
• Provide regular status updates on schedule, budget, risks, and decisions to leadership.
• Partner with Facilities and Store Ops for smooth transitions from construction through opening.
