Hy-Vee is seeking a Courtesy Clerk to support customers across the store, from checkout to car, and to help keep the store clean and welcoming. The role emphasizes active, friendly service and teamwork to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, stocking and rotating merchandise, and supporting store operations. Training is provided; the position is hourly with potential for growth within the store family.

Qualifications

• Follow written or verbal instructions and complete tasks with a few concrete variables.
• Work effectively as part of a team to keep the store clean and customers happy.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service with a smile.
• Package customer purchases and assist with transporting them to their vehicle.
• Bring carts in from the parking lot and manage cart corrals.
• Clean registers, restrooms, break room, and backroom; sweep and mop floors.
• Stock, face, and rotate merchandise; understand shelf tags and locations.
• Maintain front end supplies and assist in training new courtesy clerks.
• Deliver product to customers and assist in other departments as needed.
