Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking Courtesey Clerks to support customers from the register to their car, keep the store clean, stocked, and welcoming. You will assist customers, package purchases, and help train new courtesy clerks as needed.

No education or prior experience is required; training is provided to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment. The role involves standing, walking, and light physical tasks in a busy store setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Package customer purchases and assist in transporting them to their vehicle.
• Bring carts from the parking lot and manage cart corrals during shifts.
• Clean registers, restrooms, break room and backroom; sweep and mop floors as needed.
• Maintain merchandise displays; rotate stock and keep shelves organized.
• Check prices and assist in locating items for customers as needed.
• Assist in other store areas and train new courtesy clerks as required.
