Job summary

The Michaels Companies, located in Durham, NC, is seeking a part-time Retail Store Environment Team Member to maintain store cleanliness and assist customers.

You will perform cleaning duties, help with checkout, engage customers about rewards, participate in BOPIS/SFS, stock and planogram tasks, and contribute to a safe, inviting shopping experience while adhering to SOPs and store policies.

Qualifications

• Retail or cleaning experience preferred.
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state and local requirements.
• Age minimum 16 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fast and friendly check out experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
