Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Store Associate for our Durham, NC store. You will help maintain a clean, organized shopping environment and deliver friendly service while guiding customers to products.

Key duties include cleaning and replenishing shelves, assisting with checkout, processing transactions, and supporting Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store. Flexible hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to support brand promises.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers locate products.
• Assist with checkout, cash handling, and enroll customers in Rewards program.
• Support Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Adhere to SOPs, safety rules, and company policies.
