Job summary

Michaels KC store is seeking a team member to maintain a clean, well-organized shopping environment while delivering friendly customer service. You will assist customers, process transactions, and enroll shoppers in the Michaels Rewards program.

The role involves stocking, helping with BOPIS/SFS, and supporting shrink and safety programs. Must be at least sixteen, comfortable standing for long periods, and able to handle physical tasks in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen years old.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to reflect brand promises.
• Assist customers and help them find products; provide fast and friendly checkout.
• Engage customers in rewards program and private label cards; enroll them when possible.
• Support omnichannel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Stock, unload trucks, and participate in planogram (POG) processes; follow SOPs.
