Job summary

The UPS Store 7171 is seeking an Assistant Center Manager to help run day-to-day operations of a retail center. The role may require opening/closing the center, supervising staff, and ensuring world-class customer service while monitoring costs and contributing to weekly/monthly reports for the franchise owner.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, retail ops experience, strong leadership, solid computer skills, physical ability, and a dynamic, motivational presence to drive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Advanced education degree, coursework, or tech school preferred.
• One year of supervisory experience in logistics, retail, or other relevant industry.
• P&L experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
• Outstanding phone skills.
• Strong customer service skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Help with personnel management including recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching associates.
• Schedule work assignments and assist with staff meetings.
• Monitor and enhance customer service delivery and satisfaction.
• Help develop and implement the store marketing program.
• Assist manage center financials and prepare reporting.
• Manage inventory.
• Review daily time sheets and process payroll.
• Oversee center maintenance, safety, and organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
