Job summary

The UPS Store #5474 is seeking an Assistant Center Manager to help the Center Manager run daily operations of this retail location. You may open/close the center, help manage productivity, and ensure world-class customer service while monitoring costs and contributing to weekly and monthly franchise reports.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (college coursework or degree preferred), at least one year of retail/store operations experience, strong supervisory and leadership

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree preferred.
• One year of retail store operations experience.
• Strong supervisory/leadership skills and solid computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Helps with personnel management, which includes recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching associates
• Schedules work assignments and helps facilitate weekly or monthly staff meetings
• Monitors, evaluates, and helps maximize customer service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Helps develop and implement the store marketing program
• Helps manage Center financials and prepare/reporting
• Manages inventory
• Reviews daily employee timesheets and submits for payroll processing
• Helps oversee Center maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and organization
• Performs other duties as assigned
