Job summary

The UPS Store 7171 is seeking a Center Manager to run day-to-day retail operations, open/close the center, lead a team, and ensure world-class customer service while monitoring costs and preparing reports.

The ideal candidate will have post-high school education, two years in retail store operations, strong leadership, solid computer skills, and the ability to motivate a team to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Post high school education, college coursework or degree is preferred.
• Two years of retail store operations experience.
• Strong supervisory/managerial/leadership skills.
• Excellent computer/internet/software knowledge.
• Physical ability to perform job duties (lifting, bending, etc.).
• Willing to listen and lead; dynamic personality and ability to motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs personnel management including recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching associates.
• Schedules work assignments and facilitates weekly or monthly staff meetings.
• Monitors and maximizes customer service delivery and satisfaction.
• Develops and implements the store marketing program.
• Manages Center financials and provides reporting.
• Manages inventory.
