Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Berlin, CT is seeking a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised store, while supporting BOPIS and SFS processes and promoting rewards and credit programs.

Candidates should be comfortable with standing for long periods, lifting, and weekend/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in finding products.
• Handle checkout with cash handling to standards and ensure a fast, friendly experience.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and store recovery to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Support Omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Engage customers on rewards programs and private label credit cards.
