Job summary

Michaels Stores in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Store Team Member to assist customers, help locate products, and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience. You’ll unload trucks, stock shelves, and participate in planograms while delivering our brand promises in a climate-controlled retail environment.

You will engage customers in rewards programs, enroll them in credit options, and support omni-channel processes.

Qualifications

Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
Educate customers on VOC survey.
Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance; handle returns/go back process.
Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to SOPs and company policies; ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
Interact with others in a respectful manner; promote company values and produce a positive image.
Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
