Job summary

Le Pain Quotidien in Coconut Grove, Miami, is seeking energetic team members for a part-time role. You’ll deliver friendly service, prepare drinks, manage to-go orders, and support pastry displays in a warm, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast, is a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required.
• Ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the dining room and retail space.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences.
• Prepare drinks for retail and dining room, including batches for the retail counter.
• Bag, box, and arrange to-go food and pastry.
• Perform sales transactions per cash handling policy.
• Maintain pastry display and knowledge of pastry, bread, beverages, and retail items.
• Handle guest situations with empathy and escalate to a manager when needed.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures and daily checklists.
• Keep restaurant areas clean and organized per cleaning checklists.
• Answer phone with proper etiquette and take orders over the phone.
