Qualifications

• 1–3 months of restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems (Toast) is a plus.
• Flexible schedule preferred but not required.
• Cross-training in dining room and retail space if possible.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences.
• Prepare drinks for retail and dining room, including batches for the retail counter.
• Bag, box, and arrange to-go food and pastry.
• Process sales transactions per cash handling policy.
• Maintain pastry display and knowledge of pastry, bread, beverages, and retail items.
• Handle guest situations with empathy and escalate to a manager when needed.
• Complete opening, mid, closing procedures and daily checklists.
• Keep all areas clean by following cleaning checklists.
• Answer phones and take orders with proper etiquette.
