Overview

The Bike Technician is a role focused on providing a differentiated customer experience specifically to cyclists. Responsibilities include building and repairing bicycles according to established procedures, and offering product recommendations based on personal experience and industry trends.

Responsibilities

1. Create a world-class customer experience through passionate customer service and engagement, especially in the Bike Department.
2. Uphold merchandise presentation standards.
3. Interact genuinely with customers to demonstrate passion, knowledge, and dedication to their sport or activity.
4. Promote company programs such as warranty sales, loyalty programs, credit cards, and seasonal promotions.
5. Achieve sales goals by selling bikes and related merchandise.
6. Build and repair bikes following established procedures; assist with assembling exercise equipment as needed.
7. Maintain merchandise presentation and signage according to company standards.
8. Follow safety, loss prevention, and operational policies; maintain confidentiality of company information.
9. Support team efforts across the store as needed.
10. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Targeted pay range: $15.50 - $24.25 per hour, with actual pay based on experience and location.
