Country Bank For Savings in Uxbridge, MA is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Retail Banking Officer, ensure the Banking Center runs at its best, drive sales performance, and coach staff to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

This full‑time role (37 hours/week) involves managing staff development, signing off on audits, opening accounts, handling loans, and guiding customers to digital services while meeting service and sales goals; compensation ranges from $50,000 to $63,000

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree or banking experience is preferred.
• Minimum of three years in a banking environment is required.
• Notary Public license is required; lending origination skills and NMLS registration are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-spot coaching and quarterly development sessions for Banking Center staff.
• Ensure effective communication of policies, procedures, and initiatives.
• Manage Banking Center operations, scheduling, and audits.
• Promote the Country Bank Experience and coach staff to improve customer engagement.
• Build customer relationships and drive lending referrals to internal lines.
• Open new accounts and educate customers on self-service products.
• Process transactions and maintain accurate cash handling and reconciliations.
• Originates and closes home equity lines and consumer loans; support Small Business Express.
