Country Bank in Paxton, MA, is hiring an Assistant Manager to oversee the Retail Banking Center. You will support the Retail Banking Officer in staff development, sales growth, and customer experience, while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years’ banking experience required.
• Notary Public license required.
• Lending origination skills and NMLS registration helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-spot coaching and quarterly development sessions for staff.
• Communicate policies and participate in staff meetings.
• Manage banking center operations, scheduling, and audits.
• Promote the Country Bank Experience and drive customer engagement.
• Open/servicing of accounts and assist with online/mobile banking education.
• Originates and closes home equity lines and consumer loans.
• Handle transactions, balance cash drawer, and ensure accuracy.
