Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Banker to serve as a frontline ambassador, delivering the Woodforest Experience and building retail customer relationships through exceptional service. The role emphasizes proactive marketing of products, strong communication, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

You will support branch operations, drive sales, and participate in community engagement, while living Woodforest’s core values.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• Prior in-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for delivering strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending banking solutions.
• Achieve individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach.
• Resolve customer inquiries at first point of contact with internal partners as needed.
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate transaction processing and account openings, adhering to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Explain complex banking solutions in a simple, easy-to-understand manner.
