Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Banker to serve as a frontline ambassador, building retail customer relationships through outstanding service and proactive marketing of products. You will execute financial solutions with accuracy while adhering to policy and regulatory guidelines.

The role emphasizes ownership, integrity and community engagement, with opportunities to support branch goals, assist customers with deposit accounts and loans, and participate in local outreach and events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• Prior in-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending banking solutions.
• Achieve individual sales goals through referrals and outreach activities.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts and consumer loan products with accuracy and compliance.
• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with bank policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
