Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Banker II in Tennessee-La Vergne to deliver the Woodforest Experience by growing retail customer relationships and proactively marketing banking solutions. You will handle teller duties and deposit products while ensuring compliance and exceptional service in a fast-paced retail branch.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• Prior in-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for delivering strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending banking solutions.
• Achieve individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach inside and outside the branch.
• Resolve customer inquiries or concerns at first contact, coordinating with internal partners as needed.
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate transaction processing, account openings, and adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Explain complex solutions in a simple, easy-to-understand way.
• Create warm, welcoming interactions and understand financial needs to explain products and digital solutions clearly.
• Provide dependable, efficient service while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Support digital banking tools and platforms to enhance the customer experience.
• Build relationships with customers, branch partners, and community members to promote Woodforest as a trusted neighborhood bank.
