Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in North Carolina is seeking a Branch Banking professional to serve as a frontline ambassador and drive retail banking relationships. You will deliver the Woodforest Experience through warm, personalized service and proactive marketing of products and services.

As a key member of the branch team, you will handle teller duties, deposit accounts, and consumer loans while upholding Woodforest’s Core Values of Ownership, Service, Community, and Integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• Previous in-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions.
• Achieve individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach.
• Resolve customer inquiries at first contact, using internal partners as needed.
• Process transactions accurately and maintain adherence to policies and procedures.
• Explain complex banking solutions in simple terms.
• Support community engagement and branch events as needed.
